Pre-order now! Art and Aspiration
A unique, illustrated book of reflections on how to grow while (mostly) keeping your sanity
Eighteen months ago, over a casual coffee, Sam told me about that weird idea she had for a book. I immediately replied “I love it and I can illustrate that!!!!” - which was bold of me. So Sam and I set off to work, with the confidence of people who have in fact never written, or illustrated, a book. That was the start of Art and Aspiration.
Half coffee table, half advice book, this unique piece mixes inspiring quotes, beautiful illustrations and reflections from our experiences throughout a hectic life. It is inspiring and empowering and comforting, meant to bring beauty and joy in your life.
While Sam is the main author, I illustrated all 30 quotes… with bubbles. What an extraordinary puzzle it was to convey meaning, emotions, through a limited color palette and expressive composition! It took me 18 months, generous feedback from Sam, and over 100 paintings to get it to its final state. The book now includes several of my favorite paintings I’ve ever done.
As you can imagine, Sam and I are incredibly excited to bring our book to you or your loved ones, which will just in time for the Holiday season!
PRE-ORDER IS NOW OPEN!! Order now and snag the original art behind the book!! The first 30 orders will receive an original illustration, and the next 20 will get a hand made bookmark. All the pre-orders will come signed, autographed and bedazzled by Sam and me!
Fall Bubble Trees
I just finished two new Bubble Trees for fall : Orange and Green. They will be at Lafayette’s pARTiculars gallery throughout October and even entered in a local vote. This is such a fun community event! And it pushed me to learn how to protect and attach my paintings to a wooden frame. I like the chunky 3D look and I think Green and Orange make such a cute pair.
(for sale only at Lafayette’s pARTiculars gallery)

Colorado parking lots
Inspired by a stunning Walmart parking lot in October… for real. The theme allows for loose watercolor and high intensity colors. Soon to be a poster collection available on my shop!

Delights
My friend Sam’s beautiful bakes are the original inspo for this series. Very quirky designs and possibly poisonous ingredients, for legal reasons please note that these are not recipes.

I can now see the Moon
“My barn having burned down, I can now see the moon “ is a quote I carry deep in my chest. I suspect most of us do, don’t we? This is an illustration for a book project coming out in 2026.

Terraforming
Beautiful and alien, bubble trees grow on a pink planet. Is it right to terraform? Too late anyway.
“Terraforming” is a series I have been working on for year and honestly can not get right, so here’s to hopefully a 2026 release
